We cannot believe how quickly the Camden Clean Air Cycle Ride whizzed past!
It was amazing to see all the support we had from sponsors such as ICTS UK and Ireland, TP ICAP and Veolia. Their contributions played a vital role in sporting our event by providing financial support to cover the use of resources such as signs and high visibility jackets that ensured a safe and smooth-running event for our riders. It was amazing to see their own team members jump on their bikes with family and colleagues to support our vision first-hand. Our local hospitality businesses also played a huge role throughout the day by providing hospitality in the form of lots of cakes, coffees, and ice-cream, all vital to refuel our riders, thank you to Casa Tua, Kiss the Hippo Coffee, and Oddonos. We could not have done it without all these different levels of support.
We are proud of our communities and take joy in uniting them over a shared passion for active travel and improving air quality. Recognizing the possible barriers to members of the community who may have lacked access to their own bikes and therefore prevented them from taking part was incredibly important. However, thanks to our amazing partnership with HumanForest we were able to provide free riding for the duration of the ride for those who wanted to get involved but did not have their own bikes. This also meant they could fly through the route on electric bikes whilst enjoying the Borough of Camden. Finally, thank you for the help London Green Cycles provided us with on the day in the form of Sam the mechanic who was ready to help riders with any bike-related issues. We hope our supporters enjoyed it just as much as we did, bring on next year!
