We had a wonderful day on Saturday celebrating the Camden Eco Champion Awards! ⚡️
The Camden Eco Champion Awards were created to recognise and celebrate the people in our community that go above and beyond to protect the environment.
Nominations were open for 3 months and anybody could nominate anybody. A panel of judges went through the nominations and scored them to establish 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each of our three categories; Mini Warriors, Junior Heroes, and Local Leaders. We invited these finalists to a prize giving ceremony to announce their ranking, share the good work they have done, and award them with fantastic prizes.
It was a lovely morning seeing so many families and members of our community gathered together. The Mayor of Camden, Councillor Nasim Ali gave a beautiful opening speech, and we also heard from Councillor Adam Harrison on how we can all work to make Camden greener and cleaner.

Nominations are already open for 2023 so we encourage everybody to start thinking about next year’s awards and get nominating! 👏🏻
