At Camden Clean Air we are big supporters of active travel and different forms of electric mobility, which is why we love e-bikes. By partnering up with HumanForest we have hoped to raise awareness and educate our communities on how to integrate electric mobility into their schedules, whether it is swapping their daily bus journey with a bike ride or jumping on a bike to run an errand instead of taking a car. We want to highlight how simple these swaps can be when thinking about personal carbon footprints and our impact on the environment around us.
One of the most effective ways to spread this message has been through our direct community engagement during our events such as the Camden Clean Air Cycle Ride. This was made possible by engaging the community with electric bikes at first hand. We want to say a huge thank you to our partners at HumanForest that went above and beyond to support this event and our vision by providing not only electric bikes, but a free code for riders and branded helmets. We wanted to make this accessible to all communities, especially those who did not have access to a bike but wanted to take part. With HumanForest we were able to provide a riding service which not only was free, but also made the ride a little bit easier for those involved, especially up hills. Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the bike ride yesterday, I had a great time. And can I just say how amazing the Human Forest bikes were. They were super easy to use and after riding 38km my legs aren’t hurting at all which is a huge plus!😀. I will definitely be renting one of these again in the future
