On Friday 21 October 2022, in partnership with Google, we organised the Future of Greentech: LIVE!
The Future of Greentech is a series of events hosted by The Camden Clean Air Initiative to share knowledge, stimulate debate, and propel ourselves into a new era of action. The event series has been created to raise awareness of the issues of climate change, with a focus on the industry leaders doing extraordinary things in the world of sustainability.
We had two programmes running simultaneously, one for professionals and one for schools. A massive thank you to our partner, Google, for providing us with a venue and creating an amazing environment for the event, as well as all of our speakers and hosts who brought their passion and expertise to the stage. It was an amazing day of learning, networking, and connecting.
Main Programme

Testimonials
“Had a really amazing day. Mind-blowing, really, how they managed to get such a great line-up of presenters and speakers. I was especially excited to hear from Jordan Marie Brompton.
So much to learn about Transport, Cities and Life in the Future, and a great opportunity to meet like-minded professionals.”
Robert McIntosh
“The students had a really nice day, were well behaved and the day was very informative. Thank you for organising such a great day.”
Tracey Maker
“It was an absolute pleasure to be part of your event. It was brilliantly run (as always) and really good fun to interact with the kids.”
Francesca Brady
“Thanks for organising an amazing event today. I’ll be honest, I normally fade at most all day events but this kept me going right up to the end and that was really special bringing in the kids.”
Peddle My Wheels
“it was a pleasure to be involved in such an interesting and fabulously organised event!”
Imogen Pierce
“A great lineup and extremely well hosted, no easy feat.”
Toby Hiles
“Best webinar in lockdown! The conversation reached into the audience and encouraged better engagement than any other webinar I have attended recently.”
Mark Saunders
“Live Q&A worked and a live show around a vehicle was superb. Well done all.”
Harvey Pitchford
“Some great topics & presenters. You did a fantastic job pulling it all together.”
David Mitchell
“I wanted to congratulate you in putting together such a fantastic event. All the speakers were great and Roger was an excellent host, with the right amount of humour but still ensuring the questions were answered and everything ran on time.”
Russell Hodson
“The technology worked really well – the way the audience was controlled and could be brought up one by one to ask questions was exceptional. I think the two speeches and a joint time for questions also worked well with Roger managing both questionee’s and answeree’s very well.”
Daniel Musenga-Grant
“I really enjoyed the Greentech: Transport event because the hosting was very professionally done and kept the conversation lively, on time and at a good pace. The speakers were not only of high quality and relevant but participated in open and honest conversations which really allowed a thorough exploration of the topic.”
Mark Saunders
“Thanks to Georgina McGivern and Roger Atkins for pulling together a great event yesterday – almost felt like a return to an in-person event with the live questions from the audience!”
“Insightful is an often overused term, but in this instance, it is truly justified. Extremely grateful to hear from the presenters’ variety of viewpoints about all things #transport and #renerwableenergy. It was genuinely the highlight of industry insight of the last twelve months!”
Philip Plambeck
“Thoroughly enjoyed my first webinar The Future of Greentech: Transport today. Great down to earth speakers with exciting & forward-thinking innovations to showcase.”
